Ladybug Character Development

As the ladybug character is planned to be one of the first NPCs you meet in the story, her character model and animations were prioritized. 

Concept Art

The ladybug was given a cute bonnet, pink blush, and curls to give her a sweet appearance.

Character Modeling

The character was modeled off of the base mesh and utilized pieces from Eubie's character model to streamline animation and keep uniformity in the style of the bug characters.

Animations

Eubie's rig was applied to the ladybug, with his and Portebella's animations being applied to it. The animations were edited to fit the ladybug's body structure and shy personality.

Unity and Blend Trees

Like other characters before her, the ladybug was imported into Unity to have a blend tree created for her. The model, animations, and blend tree were exported and sent out to other members of the team.
